Gaza- Do the math.

“More than 50 journalists have sent an open letter calling on Israel and Egypt to provide “free and unfettered access to Gaza for all foreign media”. This was reported on the BBC news site today

I totally agree with that. I believe it was a mistake that journalists were refused entry into Gaza, because the data coming out of Gaza can not be verified. Especially since the data is also controlled by Hamas.

Lets have a closer look at the latest data, Again this how it was reported by the BBC. In its daily update on Thursday, the Hamas ministry of health said 81 people had been killed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 30,035.

The figures do not differentiate between civilians and fighters when identifying those killed. Nor do they have a break down of age groups, gender, actual causes. killed by Israel or killed by Hamas.

The figure comes down to 1.3% of the population. The war is going on since October 7 2023, and it is reaching the 5th month. Looking at the annual death rate in Ireland for example, it is 7% of the population. Ireland being a reasonably developed and healthy country. This is not scientifically proven, but more on my observation. Since the dats and its breakdown is not verified, it appears that the death rate in Gaza at war is lower then Ireland at peace. I know the Hamas ministry of health says it is casualties of war, but it also says it doesn’t differentiate between civilians and fighters. So what parameters are they using?

Then look at the number of casualties, 30,035, that is an absolute number. There are no absolute numbers of casualties available from any war during the 20th century, Yet Hamas, during the height of battle , and with alleged shortages of resources can provide us with an absolute number, although they give a caveat that they expect the number to rise.

There is no doubt in my mind that the number of casualties is high. It may well be 30,035, it even may be higher, However, there is no verification. I know there are no independent journalist allowed, but there is no one stopping any journalist to ask the Hamas authorities, and indeed the Israeli authorities what the breakdown of those number are, and what actually is included. Do the math.

pinkpop_logo_jpg

PinkPop is the oldest and longest running annual dedicated pop and rock music festival in the world.

1982_51

It started in 1970 in the former mining town of Geleen in the south east of the Netherlands. It stayed there until 1986. In 1987 it moved north a bit to Baarlo and since 1988 it has been held in the town of Landgraaf.

In 2017  though it  decided to commit artistic and musical suicide by announcing that the 2017 headliner would be be Justin Bieber.

It is sad to see this legendary institution which originated in my home town taking its own life.

Let’s just have a look back at some of the legendary bands who performed there in the past.

Executive Order 9066

instructions_to_japanese

Ten weeks after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt signs Executive Order 9066, authorizing the removal of any or all people from military areas “as deemed necessary or desirable.” The military in turn defined the entire West Coast, home to the majority of Americans of Japanese ancestry or citizenship, as a military area. By June, more than 110,000 Japanese Americans were relocated to remote internment camps built by the U.S. military in scattered locations around the country. For the next two and a half years, many of these Japanese Americans endured extremely difficult living conditions and poor treatment by their military guards.

“Executive” Order No. 9066

The President

Executive Order

Authorizing the Secretary of War to Prescribe Military Areas

Whereas the successful prosecution of the war requires every possible protection against espionage and against sabotage to national-defense material, national-defense premises, and national-defense utilities as defined in Section 4, Act of April 20, 1918, 40 Stat. 533, as amended by the Act of November 30, 1940, 54 Stat. 1220, and the Act of August 21, 1941, 55 Stat. 655 (U.S.C., Title 50, Sec. 104);

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority vested in me as President of the United States, and Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy, I hereby authorize and direct the Secretary of War, and the Military Commanders whom he may from time to time designate, whenever he or any designated Commander deems such action necessary or desirable, to prescribe military areas in such places and of such extent as he or the appropriate Military Commander may determine, from which any or all persons may be excluded, and with respect to which, the right of any person to enter, remain in, or leave shall be subject to whatever restrictions the Secretary of War or the appropriate Military Commander may impose in his discretion. The Secretary of War is hereby authorized to provide for residents of any such area who are excluded therefrom, such transportation, food, shelter, and other accommodations as may be necessary, in the judgment of the Secretary of War or the said Military Commander, and until other arrangements are made, to accomplish the purpose of this order. The designation of military areas in any region or locality shall supersede designations of prohibited and restricted areas by the Attorney General under the Proclamations of December 7 and 8, 1941, and shall supersede the responsibility and authority of the Attorney General under the said Proclamations in respect of such prohibited and restricted areas.

I hereby further authorize and direct the Secretary of War and the said Military Commanders to take such other steps as he or the appropriate Military Commander may deem advisable to enforce compliance with the restrictions applicable to each Military area here in above authorized to be designated, including the use of Federal troops and other Federal Agencies, with authority to accept assistance of state and local agencies.

fa_550_convoyindesert970

I hereby further authorize and direct all Executive Departments, independent establishments and other Federal Agencies, to assist the Secretary of War or the said Military Commanders in carrying out this Executive Order, including the furnishing of medical aid, hospitalization, food, clothing, transportation, use of land, shelter, and other supplies, equipment, utilities, facilities, and services.

This order shall not be construed as modifying or limiting in any way the authority heretofore granted under Executive Order No. 8972, dated December 12, 1941, nor shall it be construed as limiting or modifying the duty and responsibility of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with respect to the investigation of alleged acts of sabotage or the duty and responsibility of the Attorney General and the Department of Justice under the Proclamations of December 7 and 8, 1941, prescribing regulations for the conduct and control of alien enemies, except as such duty and responsibility is superseded by the designation of military areas here under.

On March 9, 1942, Roosevelt signed Public Law 503 (approved after only an hour of discussion in the Senate and thirty minutes in the House) in order to provide for the enforcement of his executive order. Authored by War Department official Karl Bendetsen

—who would later be promoted to Director of the Wartime Civilian Control Administration and oversee the “evacuation” of Japanese Americans—the law made violations of military orders a misdemeanor punishable by up to $5,000 in fines and one year in prison.

As a result, approximately 120,000 men, women, and children of Japanese ancestry were evicted from the West Coast of the United States and held in internment camps across the country. Japanese Americans in Hawaii were not incarcerated in the same way, the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Niihau notwithstanding. Although the Japanese American population in Hawaii was nearly 40% of the population of Hawaii itself, only a few thousand people were detained there, supporting the eventual finding that their mass removal on the West Coast was motivated by reasons other than “military necessity

Over two-thirds of the people of Japanese ethnicity interned—almost 70,000—were American citizens. Many of the rest had lived in the country between 20 and 40 years. Most Japanese Americans, particularly the first generation born in the United States (the nisei), considered themselves loyal to the United States of America. No Japanese American citizen or Japanese national residing in the United States was ever found guilty of sabotage or espionage.

Americans of Italian and German ancestry were also targeted by these restrictions, including internment. 11,000 people of German ancestry were interned, as were 3,000 people of Italian ancestry, along with some Jewish refugees. The interned Jewish refugees came from Germany, as the U.S. government did not differentiate between ethnic Jews and ethnic Germans (the term “Jewish” was defined as a religious practice, not an ethnicity). Some of the internees of European descent were interned only briefly, while others were held for several years beyond the end of the war. Like the Japanese internees, these smaller groups had American-born citizens in their numbers, especially among the children. A few members of ethnicities of other Axis countries were interned, but exact numbers are unknown.

Terror Attacks

8134248-3x2-700x467

Europe was hit by yet an awful terror attack and my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.

It is only going to be a matter of time before the loony left, neo liberals  and the far right will be spouting their theories on who and what is to blame. On the one side we will have the claims of the ‘poor disenfranchised youth’ and the other side we’ll have ‘all muslims are terrorists’ and both will point the finger to the current refugee crisis.

But lets look at some facts.

Yes there is an issue with the management of the current refugee crisis.

The irony is that the one world leader who actually was willing to do something about this, inadvertently caused the opposite effect.I have great respect for Angela Merkel but in her naivety she has caused this crisis to happen. I know she did it with the best of intentions and it was very noble but it wasn’t thought through.

1444645619_9285

It is a fact that when you invite everyone to come there is a big chance that that is exactly what will happen. Add the fact that Europe’s borders are a bit like an Emmenthal cheese, full of holes, you are inviting disaster.

This became very evident to me after watching an RTE documentary called ‘the Crossing’ about the refugee rescue efforts of the Irish Naval ship the LE Samuel Beckett in the the Mediterranean.

Most of the  rescued refugees said they wanted to go to Germany. In fact the smugglers had used Merkel’s open welcome, the smugglers had given some  of the refugees, the false promise  that once they got to Germany they would get free accommodation and a limitless credit card.

If you invite people to come without any proper vetting facilities being in place ,you take the risk that you also invite lunatics with a major chip on their shoulder.

On the other hand some of the worst terror attacks in the west were perpetrated long before the current refugee crisis.

Before people start blaming all religions of all evil ever committed in history, yes there are Muslim terrorists. But there are also Christian terrorist,Pagan Terrorist,Atheist terrorists and Animal Right terrorists, and even anti racism terrorists. Or as I like to call them “Lunatics with a warped sense of entitlement and disturbed political agendas”

Below are a few examples.

Anders Behring Breivik

anders-breivik

His religion is a Pagan religion called Odinism, although he had been a Christian before. He killed 77 in Norway on the 22nd of July 2011, this was also before the current refugee crisis.

Volkert van der Graaf

vo

is a Dutch convicted murderer who assassinated politician Pim Fortuyn, the leader of the Pim Fortuyn List (LPF), on 6 May 2002.

pim_fortuyn_-_may_4

This occurred during the political campaign for the Dutch general elections of 2002. An environmental and animal rights activist,he said at his trial that he murdered Fortuyn to stop him from exploiting Muslims as “scapegoats” and targeting “the weak members of society” in seeking political power. I know some people will say he wasn’t a terrorist but a murderer, however when Theo van Gogh was murdered in a similar way, but by a Muslim, that crime was branded a terror attack . Even though both murders were nearly identical, therefore I will not cherry pick and will call Pim Fortuyn’s murder also a Terror attack.

Mohammed Bouyeri

bouyeri

Mohammed Bouyeri (born 8 March 1978) is a Moroccan-Dutch radical Islamic terrorist and convicted murderer who is serving a life sentence without parole for the assassination of Dutch film director Theo van Gogh. He holds both Dutch and Moroccan citizenship.

theovangogh

Filmmaker Theo van Gogh was notorious for his insults to “everyone respected in postwar multicultural Dutch society, including Jews and Muslims” but who “also helped bring Muslim actors onto Dutch television.”In 2004, he and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali refugee who was a Dutch member of parliament at the time, directed a short film called Submission, Part I about Islam and violence against women.

ayaan_hirsi_ali_by_gage_skidmore

In the film women are shown wearing transparent clothes with verses of the Quran written on their bodies. The film aired in August 2004 on Dutch television in prime time, the ensuing outcry led the Dutch police to offer police protection for both directors, but van Gogh refused.

The 26-year-old Bouyeri assassinated van Gogh in the early morning of 2 November 2004, in Amsterdam, in front of the city’s East Borough office (stadsdeelkantoor) on the corner of the Linnaeusstraat and Tweede Oosterparkstraat, while he was bicycling to work.

Luigi Galleani

main-qimg-d5584886ab8911e187d77e61b2b98088

An Italian atheist and anarchist active in the United States from 1901 to 1919, viewed by historians as an insurrectionary anarchist. He is best known for his enthusiastic advocacy of “propaganda of the deed”, i.e. the use of violence to eliminate tyrants and oppressors and to act as a catalyst to the overthrow of existing government institutions. From 1914 to 1932, Galleani’s followers in the United States (known as i Galleanisti), carried out a series of bombings and assassination attempts against institutions and persons they viewed as class enemies. After Galleani was deported from the United States to Italy in June 1919, his colleagues are alleged to have carried out the Wall Street bombing of 16 September 1920, which resulted in the deaths of 38 people.

Revolutionary Anti-Racist Action(Revolutionaire Anti-Racistische Actie)

54386

Revolutionary Anti-Racist Action or Revolutionaire Anti-Racistische Actie, often abbreviated RaRa was a Dutch Revolutionary group, although in the Netherlands the group was called a ‘political violent activist’-group The name “RaRa” in Dutch means “Guess …” (who we are),

RaRa was active in the 1980s and 1990s within the Netherlands, bombing sites to express opposition to the apartheid policies of South Africa as well as to the Dutch asylum legislation.Their bombings caused a lot of material damage. Amazingly no one was killed but it could have easily resulted in a great number of fatalities.

Of course there have been other terrorists organizations who caused a great number of fatalities in Europe, UDA,UVF,RAF,ETA,IRA and Baader Meinhof group to name but a few.

A poem for Nice

Every time when I think I can’t cry no more I wake up to reality.

Celebrating freedom is punished by a warped ideology

Men, women and children indiscriminately butchered by evil.

The only reasons are to cause fear and panic and to kill.

A man carries his child to safety, how will he ever to be able to explain?

Why is there so much hate and anger? The willingness to destroy, it is just insane.

A night where people from all walks of life, felt love and became friends

But this was seen as something wrong and a crime and had to end.

As so many times before, my solemn pledge will be.

Despite this malice I will keep my faith in humanity.

My thoughts are with the victims and the those that love them.

For love will conquer all, evil and hate we will condemn.

Dallas Shootings

I am deviating from my usual blogs and I always try to stay out of the Political arena, but I felt compelled to voice my observation and that is all they are , my observations.

It is truly awful what happened in Dallas but also what happened in Baton Rouge and Minnesota.

Why did this happen, why are Police officers shooting innocent black men?

The easy answer would “It’s because they are racists” and no doubt, there are some racists cops but any grouping will have racists elements in its midst, because it usually is a reflection of society as a whole. Of course I am excluding the groups who base their existence on racism, but in general any group or organisation will be a scaled reflection of society.

However these shootings are not fueled by racism but by paranoia. Paranoia which has been created by liberal PC lobby groups.

If a Police officer stops anyone, all they have to do is play the race or ethnic minority card, even when they have committed a crime there is a good chance they will get away with it, but this is not a black or white thing. It is a black.white, lgbt, traveller thing. All because we can no longer call people for what they are.

I do not envy any law enforcement officer in any part of the world because this is a global thing. The only thing we can turn this around is by acknowledging that with human rights also come human responsibilities and accountability.

Going back to the shootings, lets not forget that some leaders of the African- American community encourage and endorse the shooting of law enforcement officers. Below are some examples, and before you say it “these are songs” they are not just songs. Every song is an opinion and a message from the artist. In fact that’s why in many countries you don’t need any license to sell music albums/singles or books because they are not seen as products but opinions. I am not saying this is the only reason cops get killed but it doesn’t help.

The last example is a song called “99 problems” by Jay z,  the second verse was about a time he was pulled over by a cop while he was in possession of cocaine. The verse is really stating how he got away with it.

Jay-Z_-_99_Problems+Dirt_Off_Your_Shoulder_(CD2)

“The year is ’94 and in my trunk is raw
In my rear view mirror is the mother fucking law
I got two choices yall pull over the car or
bounce on the double put the pedal to the floor
Now I ain’t trying to see no highway chase with jake
Plus I got a few dollars I can fight the case
So I…pull over to the side of the road
And I heard “Son do you know why I’m stopping you for?”
Cause I’m young and I’m black and my hat’s real low
Do I look like a mind reader sir, I don’t know
Am I under arrest or should I guess some mo?
“Well you was doing fifty five in a fifty four”
“License and registration and step out of the car”
“Are you carrying a weapon on you I know a lot of you are”
I ain’t stepping out of shit all my papers legit
“Do you mind if I look round the car a little bit?”
Well my glove compartment is locked so is the trunk and the back
And I know my rights so you gon’ need a warrant for that
“Aren’t you sharp as a tack are some type of lawyer or something?”
“Or somebody important or something?”
Nah I ain’t passed the bar but I know a little bit
Enough that you won’t illegally search my shit
“Well see how smart you are when the K-9’s come”
I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one
Hit me”

It is not only black artists who sing about killing or harming cops there are plenty of white ones to, but even the majority of those white artists are from the Hip Hop scene, which is part of Mobo and is more popular with black kids then white kids.

Combine a liberal(no responsibility required) agenda, with a PC lobby fueled by incitement of hate and ridicule old traditions and values and you have the perfect cocktail for disaster.

Racism is not black or white it is universal.

People have been allowed to disrespect cultural values for decades now, and those who scream “I am a victim ” the hardest are being heard and believed the most often without any real basis or facts to back it up.

Racism is created when people are perceiving something to be unjust and it is not addressed properly by the state by either change that perception or deal with it in a just way, and if that means you will have to offend some people well then so be it. But just ignoring it, which is happening all over the world at the moment.it will create and is currently creating the return of Fascism and Nazism.

Why do we allow history to repeat itself?

With the Pegida marches which took place all over Europe the last weekend, one inescapable fact became clear, History is repeating itself and we are allowing it to do so.

I am not going to dismiss the genuine fears people in the west have about Islam, because some of it is real. There are those in the Muslim community who have a medieval view on the world, but guess what they are not the only ones. You will find people who are stuck in the 15 century in every level of society and in all religions, including atheism. Even withing Buddhism, several months ago some Buddhist . In may 2015 a number of Dutch Buddhist monks were arrested under suspicion of having abused students for decades. On the 6th of January a British Buddhist monk was arrested in Thailand for possession of child pornography. But yet I haven’t seen any protest stopping Buddhists entering Europe.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/thailand/12085598/British-Buddhist-monk-arrested-in-Thailand-on-child-pornography-charges.html

http://www.nltimes.nl/2015/05/25/buddhist-monks-sexual-abuse-revealed/

Bottom line is there are bad people everywhere.

And I do agree that the refugees who arrive in Europe will have to adapt to the cultural values of the countries that take them in, if they don’t like those values well then they have to re-evaluate their situation and leave.

However does this mean we have to stop the refugees coming in for fear that some of them might be terrorists, rapists or child abusers? No.

What this does mean that we do a pan European approach or even a Global approach for dealing with the stream of refugees, to police it adequately,to make sure we leave those in who really need it.

Constantly I hear people say why can’t we help them in their own country in Syria or Iraq. Here is why this is a picture of currently one of the better areas in Aleppo, which is currently under siege by the Syrian army, the Russian air force, the rebels and Isis. None of them have the interest of the citizens at heart.

aleppo

Another theory I hear is “Why can’t their neighbors look after them?” and this is a valid point to an extend. however Lebanon with a population of 6 Million and a similar size as the Netherlands already took 2 Million refugees=1/3rd of the population. I do agree that countries like Saudi Arabia could take refugees, but Saudi Arabia is part of the problem and logic states a part of the problem can never become a solution.

All this is not new.

srebrenica-massacre

These events all happened in the last 100 years and yet we are letting it happen again, and yet the unfounded hatred is there for all to see.

In all of these cases the victims were HUMAN BEINGS. Part of the Human race, the only race.

Even when I write this backed up with facts I know there will be those who will come with that 3 letter  word that has caused so much damage “but”

They will find an excuse to justify the slaughter of innocent lives, however that is a reflection on their own ignorance and lack of compassion. I sincerely hope that they don’t forget the next time around it might be them or their children who find themselves to be refugees.

Ending this with one of the most powerful poems by Martin Niemöller

Making a Murderer, the Steven Avery case

+++++ This Blog contains spoiler alerts++++++++

I watched the Netflix “Making a Murderer” over the last few days and last night I watched the ID Documentary “Steven Avery:Innocent or Guilty” they also referred to the Netflix documentary

Now I am not an investigator or law enforcement agent that’s why I am reserving my judgement whether he is Innocent or Guilty.

In fact at this stage it doesn’t really matter anymore whether he is or he isn’t.

Regardless of all the opinions and evidence used in the case there is one point which just can’t be refuted and that is the issue of ‘Reasonable Doubt’ and the handling by the Police in this case really creates enough cause to apply Reasonable Doubt. I know the term itself is vague enough but if you put all the things together you can only come to one conclusion which is that the DA and the Police are guilty of obstructing the cause of justice, that on its own should have been grounds to throw the case out of court.

It is going back to the 1st time Steven Avery had already spent 10 years in jail for a crime he hadn’t committed.

In 1995 Sgt Coburn who then worked at corrections gets a call from a law enforcement officer telling him that they have the wrong man in jail for the rape of a woman. Sgt Coburn does nothing with this information, he doesn’t even report it.Only 8 years later a few days before Steven Avery gets released he writes a report about it.When Steven Avery actually got out with new DNA evidence. This clearly indicates his incompetence. Does he get disciplined for this? No.

report

I will not go into all the details of the case or documentaries I will leave up to yourselves to watch it , and please do watch it because it will be one of the most amazing stories you will ever hear.

I will however pick up a few facts which I found bizarre that they weren’t followed up on.

In about 80% of all cases where someone goes missing and ends up dead, a family member or someone close to the victims is the perpetrator.

Ryan Hillegas who was Teresa Halbach’s Ex Boyfriend(keyword here is Ex) was involved in the search party and appear to have access all areas, on top of that he hacked into Teresa’s voicemail, using Teresa’s password and username even though Teresa had never given him the details. Yet he was never questioned or considered a suspect

Teresa’s room mate Scott only reported her missing 4 days after she disappeared. Both Scott and Ryan tapped into Teresa’s phone records but Scott also was never questioned or considered a suspect.

None of Teresa’s family were ever questioned.

Then we have the DA who already branded Steven Avery and his Nephew Brendan Dassey as guilty in the media, given all sorts of details of the murder which weren’t true, he had basically already convicted them via trial by media. A jury member later stated that he thought Steven was guilty because of Press conference given by Ken Kratz

The DA who later emerged had been sexting a domestic abuse victim he had helped, extorting her into a relationship, after that news broke several women filed complaints about him, even though this isn’t linked to the case it does show what kind of person he is and the things he does to get what he wants.

Then there is the evidence itself. Allegedly Teresa had been killed in Steven’s bedroom she was stabbed ans shot but there was no blood found anywhere.

Steven Avery claims that he is being framed and the fact that, a blood sample taken from him in 1985, was tampered with clearly strengthen that claim. Regardless if the DA states that the needle hole in the top of the bottle is standard. It was clear that both seals in the outside and inside box were cut.

And most bizarrely of all 2 police officers Lt Lenk and Sgt Colborn from Manitowoc County who were both sued by Steven Averey because of the 18 years false imprisonment for a crime he hadn’t committed, were now active in the investigation of the murder of Teresa Halbach, haven’t they heard of conflict of interest.

The jury had been instructed to ignore the rape and stabbing remarks made by the DA in the press conference but one jury member stated afterwards that he had taken those remarks in consideration, in fact he had already said before the trial started that Steven and Brendan were guilty.

All of these things really should have been enough grounds for a mistrial or at least an appeal but that was also denied.

This means that if Steven didn’t kill Teresa, the real killer is walking free and it has been more then 10 years now since she has been killed, where the focus only has been on Steven and his nephew.

Steven Avery denies he killed her.

Do watch the documentaries though and make up your own mind, regardless what side you’ll be on it is a compelling story.

On Friday 12 August 2016, a federal judge in Wisconsin overturned the murder and sexual assault convictions of Brendan Dassey, and ordered his release from prison unless prosecutors schedule a new trial within 90 days. Dassey and his uncle, Steven Avery, were convicted for photographer Teresa Halbach’s 2005 murder and sentenced to life in prison, but their case became the subject of international attention thanks to the Netflix docuseries Making A Murderer. At the time of Halbach’s murder, Avery was just two years out of prison after serving 18 years for a rape he did not commit, and was on the brink of winning a $36 million lawsuit against Manitowoc County and the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department. The documentary gave credence to the theory that Avery might have been framed for Halbach’s murder in order to thwart the lawsuit.

The federal court’s unexpected and rare decision to overturn Dassey’s conviction is a massive win for the now 26-year-old, because unlike the case against Avery, which is full of physical evidence – contested though it may be – the only thing prosecutors had that linked Dassey to Halbach’s murder was his involuntary confession. However, prosecutors never called Dassey to testify at Avery’s trial, nor did they use his confession as evidence against Avery in court, so its suppression won’t have any immediate impact on Avery’s case. However, it stands to wonder whether the timing of this decision in Dassey’s favor, especially after all his state appeals had been denied, is a sign that the Wisconsin county’s beef with the Avery family is losing ground.

MH17

On July 17th 2014 Flight MH17 was cowardly brought down near Torez in the Donetsk Oblast in Ukraine, approximately 25 miles from the Russian border.

Thus far no one has claimed responsibility for this crime. One of the things I find really disturbing is the way some people are dismissing this as if it was an accident, it wasn’t it was a crime carried out by cowards.

Although there is no concrete evidence as such everything is pointing to Russia.

Bellingcat, a citizen journalism group, says it has identified up to 100 Russian soldiers from a Kursk-based air defence unit who may have knowledge of the movements of the missile launcher that destroyed the Boeing 777 on July 17, 2014.

About 20 of those individuals would “likely have had direct involvement” in the deployment to east Ukraine that led to the shoot down and  298 civilian deaths.

The fact that Russia has vetoed a full investigation in to this attack, doesn’t , in my opinion, put them in a great light. That said the Ukranian government also has a lot to answer for.

My aim is not to put the blame to anyone, my aim is for justice to be done for the victims. I’d written a poem for the victims and have pledged to regularly post this poem on several social media outlets to make sure the victims aren’t forgotten.

298 a number that we always will remember
298 lives that have been lost
298 of friends and family members.
298 souls eternally loved

298 ambitions and dreams cut short
298 innocent moments in time
298 families that need our support
298 victims of 1 brutal crime

298 new stars in the sky
298 reasons to pray
298 tears to cry
298 respects to pay

Political Correctness

In this PC world people will eventually get what they wish for, just to find out that it wasn’t actually what they wanted but it will be too late then.

It bothers me when people defend some criminals and thugs by saying “they had a bad childhood. Or that they had no opportunities or anywhere to play when they were growing op”

This is an argument I have heard even being used for those who have left Europe to joins the likes of ISIS.

Well guess what? My childhood wasn’t a bed of roses either and as for “play”opportunities! This was my play ground, A chemical plant.

At the end of it all we are all responsible for our own actions. We decide to be a victim or a victor.
